Pictures Updated!
The photos in the "Pictures" section have been updated with the two most recent parties (12/1/01 & 2/23/02). This brings the pictures section completely up to date.

Strafe Jumping And The Like
Disruptor showed me this pretty cool site about Quake 3 "Strafe Jumping." I know that there’s lots more out there I’m sure, but this one has a really cool video that is just tooo awesome! You GOTTA check it out NOW!!

There’s also a “how to” section on the PimpJump site but I still haven't gotten the hang of the "trick" jumping just yet. It seems that this is something "ordinary" now-a-days.

Online Game Night #33
It seems everyone that wanted to get in to the server tonight were able to get in. As usual, we also played InstaGib but don't have the stats. I'm looking into another InstaGib mod that will work with the WTW parcer. Until then, see you at tne next online event Wednesday, March 13th, at 8PM.

LAN Party Review
Oh what fun no lag is! I don’t know about you, but I sure had a great time. A special thanks to Adam "The Puffer" Hickey and his wife Heather for hosting the gig. And to all who helped setup and tear down tables etc.

NOTICE!! Party Relocation!
Since there are more than 18 gamers signed up for the Feb. 22-23 party, the location has been moved to accomdate the larger group size. It will be at The Puffer's house in Fair Oaks, CA since there's a bit more room there than my place. There's still a couple seats left if you're still thinking about signing-up. Better hurry!

Saturday's Party UPDATE
The location has also been finalized, it will be at my place in West Roseville. I have room for up to 18 people. In the event that we should need more space, The Puffer has offered his place in Fair Oaks as a backup. I will be emailing directions soon.

Quake 3 Tournament!!!
There will be another Quake 3 Tournament for those who are interested!! Basically, we’ll have a 2 hour Deathmatch window in the morning (probably around 9:30-11:30) that competitors will play solid. Then we’ll use the Who’s The Winner log parcer to see who did the most damage. If you wish to compete, the cost will be $1.00 and there will be a pretty cool Grand Prize awarded to the winner!
